Reshaping the University Virtual Reading Circle

Knowledge Community Virtual Events Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Division Indigenous Peoples

Higher education relations are invited to join NASPA's Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Community and the Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Division for a three-part reading circle providing space for exploration of the ideas presented in the book Reshaping the University: Responsibility, Indigenous Epistemes, and the Logic of the Gift by Rauna Kuokkanen (2008).

The reading circles will take place:

  • Friday, March 26, 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Eastern - Introduction and Ch. 1
  • Friday, April 23, 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Eastern - Ch. 2 and Ch. 3
  • Friday, May 21, 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. Eastern - Ch. 4 and Ch. 5

Participants will be responsible for providing their own copies of the book (we suggest purchasing from the University of British Columbia Press).
