Since 2005, NASPA has recognized the contributions of members who are transforming higher education through outstanding programs, innovative services, and effective administration. This article showcases the work of the 2013 NASPA Excellence Awards grand prize winners. These programs are successfully addressing some of higher education's most difficult challenges, such as boosting retention, preparing disadvantaged youth, and educating students about alcohol use.
