October 2, 2024
Hello everyone,
I’m Erin, and I’m excited to announce that I’ve taken on the role of chair for the Enrollment Management Working Group within the Student Affairs Partnering with Academic Affairs Knowledge Community. As someone who is new to both NASPA and SAPAA, I am eager to connect with the talented and knowledgeable professionals in our field!
Why Join Us?
I’d love for you to consider becoming an active member of our Enrollment Management Working Group—whether as a co-chair or a contributor. Here’s why I’m so passionate about this opportunity:
With 20 years in admissions and recruitment, I’ve often served as a bridge between Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs. Currently, I’m the Director of Recruitment and Outreach Programs at the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland. In my role, I manage our recruitment strategy, oversee application evaluations, and coordinate outreach programs that support students at every stage of their journey in engineering. As a first-generation college graduate, I find great joy in helping students discover their “home” in higher education.
The Importance of Our Work
Enrollment management professionals face numerous challenges today. Yet, this is precisely why our work is so vital. We have the unique opportunity to empower students and help them explore new dreams and possibilities for their futures. I am eager to discuss best practices and innovative strategies that can drive our efforts forward.
Get Involved!
If you’re interested in serving as a co-chair or have ideas for discussion topics, please fill out this form. Your insights and contributions are invaluable, and together, we can make a significant impact on the future of enrollment management.
