Orientation, Transition, & Retention (OTR) Knowledge Community

Region IV-W
December 11, 2019 Rebecca Roach Labette Community College

Hello from Southeast Kansas! My name is Rebecca Roach and I’m excited to be serving the IV-W NASPA membership as the IV-W representative for the newly reactivated Orientation, Transition, and Retention Knowledge Community (OTR). I hope this note finds you enjoying the semester as we near the home stretch!

Ensuring our students feel connected, overcome barriers, and successfully persist to graduation are core to our work within higher education. The OTR Knowledge Community brings together higher education and student affairs professionals and scholars with an interest in orientation, transition, and/or retention to share knowledge and research in order to enhance the programs, services, and initiatives on our respective campuses.

We have a motivated and robust leadership team in place to provide you connection and learning opportunities both at the regional and international levels. JOIN US by connecting your online NAPSA membership profile with the Orientation, Transition, and Retention Knowledge Community.

Volunteer/Leadership Opportunity! The Region IV-West OTR KC Representative is now posted online at Volunteer Central .The application deadline is January 1, and the appointment begins on April 1. This is a great way to get more involved with NASPA at the regional level and build ties with others in the field from across the region and country!
