Technology Knowledge Community Award Nominations Now Open

The NASPA Technology Knowledge Community is happy to offer several award opportunities each year.  With three recognition awards and one small research grant award, the TKC wants celebrate and support accomplishments in areas related to Technology.  Here are short descriptions of our awards with links to the application and nomination process.

TKC Small Research Grant Award - This award supports the execution of promising technology-related research which can inform the practice of student affairs administrators.  The grant provides up to $400 in support of the research project proposal which is selected.

TKC Outstanding Graduate Student Award - Graduate students contribute significantly to our student affairs programs.  Nominees for this award should be graduate students who have demonstrated innovative use of technology within student affairs.  The nominee selected will receive up to $400 in support of their attendence at the Annual NASPA Conference.

Technology Research, Assessment and Evaluation Innovation Award - The TKC wants to recognize innovators in the application of research, assessment, and evaluation of technology related tools and practices.  This awardi is focused on colleagues who excell in this area.

Student Affairs Technology Emerging Practice Award - This award recognizes colleagues who are leveraging technology to make a real difference at their institution and in the profession.  Nominees should be using technology to support strategies and programs in new and innovative ways in student affairs.
