Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, even students who have placed deposits are rethinking whether they still plan to attend in the fall. One of the most critical touchpoints for keeping students engaged is summer orientation. As colleges and universities are forced to rapidly reimagine orientation in a virtual format, student affairs leaders wonder how these sessions can continue to cultivate a sense of community and convey the appeal of college life.
In this webinar, leaders from University of Colorado Denver and researchers from EAB will share how to build a compelling virtual orientation, and also how to think beyond the short format of orientation to engage students throughout the summer. Participants will receive a copy of our 100+ Ideas for Virtual Engagement Strategies compendium.
Learning Outcomes:
Members will learn how to craft a compelling virtual summer orientation and use other virtual touchpoints to keep incoming students engaged during the summer of 2020.
