Region II Conference Registration Scholarships

Are you seeking additional funding to attend the Regional Conference? NASPA Region II has your back!

We’re pleased to announce that Region II is sponsoring scholarships for our upcoming conference registration fee geared towards graduate students and new to mid-level professionals. This opportunity is only available to Region II Members; individuals will be responsible for meals, transportation, lodging, and other experiences in Pittsburgh.  More information forthcoming.

Call for Educational Programs

Presenting at the conference is a great opportunity to engage with your peers, share best practices, and highlight the good work that's taking place at institutions across our region. The success of the regional conference is based on your engagement and participation, so we encourage student affairs professionals at all levels—whether you are a graduate student and emerging practitioner or a seasoned, senior-level professional—to submit a proposal. Your contributions are invaluable to the conference and to the student affairs profession.

The deadline to submit a proposal for consideration is upcoming (to be determined).

Program submissions are being accepted for the following program formats:

  • General Interest Session (60 minutes): Traditional program sessions designed to be lectures or interactive conversations between presenters and participants to share best practices, research, skills, and competencies.

  • Panel/Roundtable (60 minutes): Structured, moderated conversations that bring together multiple practitioners and a moderator to explore a particular topic, share perspectives, and engage in discourse.  This format is intended to be more of a dialogue among the panelists and with the participants.

  • Extended Learning Session (120 minutes): Extended sessions in any format that are intended to serve as a deeper dive into important topics.

Proposals ought to demonstrate a connection to the NASPA Region II mission statement: The mission of the NASPA Region II Conference is to connect members of the Region II student affairs community by creating a conference experience that integrates integrity, innovation, inclusion, and inquiry. We strive to help participants create networks to share the rewards and challenges of educating college students.
