Understanding budgeting, borrowing, investing, personal financial management, and tax policies are all necessary skills in today's society. Increased financial literacy helps to move individuals and communities toward greater financial well-being, reducing stress, increasing economic mobility, and better allocating resources to meet current expenses and prepare for future financial obligations.

NASPA is excited to launch a new initiative focusing on developing a financial literacy and well-being curriculum, tools, and resources for student affairs professionals in all phases of their professional journeys. From educating individuals on the persistence of racial wealth gaps to navigating retirement decisions, the Association is interested in building these resources through a lens of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
